Title: Don't Look Now

Description: On an early fall morning in Rocky Mountain National Park, I stumbled upon a rare sight: two moose, seemingly inseparable, in the quiet wilderness. The smaller of the two appeared to be an adolescent, though I couldn't determine its gender. 

Arriving at the park before dawn, I parked at the Sheep Lake lot, surrounded by darkness. As the sun began to rise, illuminating the landscape, I spotted the moose about 75 yards away, still just a shadow of a creature. With my camera mounted on a tripod, I patiently waited, capturing the unfolding scene as the morning progressed.

In this particular shot, one can't help but imagine the conversation between the younger moose and its elder counterpart. Perhaps the younger one jests, "Don't look now, but I think those people over there are watching us." It's moments like these that make the early morning ventures into nature truly unforgettable.
